Nissan Porn.
I am very dubious about the "360" HP claim from 3.2 liters at only 8000rpm, but everything else is brilliant, it's state of the art. This car is like a knife edge .
Rebello engines, which are absurdly expensive, make that kind of power on high octane but not until 9000-10000rpm. Unless they're running C16 or have some form of boost, 300+ HP out of a naturally aspirated L engine is going to take more than 8000rpm, which the motors are capable of if build right. Makes me think that they built a 360HP @9000rpm motor... and then limited it to 8000rpm to save the reliability.
Another example of why those power numbers worry me, the venerable DOHC OS Giken engine heads, which raise the redline to close to 10000rpm, only make around 350HP from the same displacement when built properly, and have to break 10000rpm to go higher.

Yeah, I was a little curious about that as well. Unless they did some crazy stroke AND rev'd it up to 8k, they probably aren't getting that kind of power. Rebello's use the diesel crank to stroke, so it is possible that this one used a completely custom crank, pistons, and rods to get more. A 3.2 pushing that power is possible, just very uncommon from an L28 NA.

It's only 3.2 liters, so at the max possible bore (89mm or so) you'd still need a 3.4 inch stroke.
Getting the displacement high enough to make those numbers believable (~3.4 liters) would require a 3.6" stroke, which is probably damn near impossible to fit and would make the engine undersquare. It's possible with some incredible creativity, given strong enough pistons and rods and custom journals, but then why would they call it a 3.2l?

That's the problem. For all we know it's nothing but a Rebello knock off that they are over hyping. They could have simply used a diesel crank, mix and matched rods and pistons, and gotten something near 3.2, then turned around and guesstimated the HP. They never show dyno of the thing, and if they are following most Civic owner logic, you can just make estimates for what each part adds in power and add them all up to get your new total... no testing needed.
Without knowing the compression, head work, bore and stroke, etc, we can't really definitively say one way or the other.

Ugh, tell me about it.
Here's an article about one of their builds for a customer who wanted a Devil Z:

And here's a video of it in action:

Don't care if everyone else uses them, I still love them. Classic, simple, effective.

They look great on anything!
These are Wantanabes, but Rotas. The style is the same though, and they look excellent!
